Adoration & Praise
Everlasting God (Brewser & Riley)
Call to Confession: 1 Corinthians 15:3,4; 1 John 5:12; Leviticus 19:2
For I delivered to you as of first importance
what I also received:
that Christ died for our sins
in accordance with the Scriptures,
that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day
in accordance with the Scriptures.
Whoever has the Son has life;
whoever does not have the Son of God
does not have life.
Speak to the whole congregation of the Israelites
and tell them,
You must be holy,
Because I, the Lord your God am holy.
Gospel & Thanksgiving
Assurance of Pardon: Isaiah 45:18-19, 17
For thus says the Lord,
who created the heavens
he is God!,
who formed the earth and made it
He established it;
he did not create it empty,
he formed it to be inhabited!
“I am the Lord, and there is no other.
I did not speak in secret,
in a land of darkness;
I did not say to the offspring of Jacob,
Seek me in vain.’
I the Lord speak the truth;
I declare what is right.
Israel is saved by the Lord
with everlasting salvation;
you shall not be put to shame or confounded
to all eternity.
All I Have Is Christ (J. Kauflin)
Sermon Text: Romans 14:10-13
"Why do you pass judgment on your brother?
Or you, why do you despise your brother?
For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God;
For it is written,
“As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me,
and every tongue shall confess to God.”
So then each of us will give an account of himself to God.
Therefore let us not pass judgment on one another any longer,
but rather decide never to put a stumbling block
or hindrance in the way of a brother.
