How Great Thou Art (Wesley and Hine)

Great Are You Lord (Jordan and Leonard)

Scripture Reading: Genesis 17:1-3, 15-17 (ESV)

"When Abram was ninety-nine years old
the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him,
“I am God Almighty; walk before me,
and be blameless,
that I may make my covenant between me and you,
and may multiply you greatly.”
Then Abram fell on his face.
And God said to him,
“As for Sarai your wife, you shall not call her name Sarai,
but Sarah shall be her name.
I will bless her, and moreover,
I will give you a son by her.
I will bless her, and she shall become nations;
kings of peoples shall come from her.”
Then Abraham fell on his face and laughed and said to himself,
“Shall a child be born to a man who is a hundred years old?
Shall Sarah, who is ninety years old, bear a child?”

Depth of Mercy (Wesley, French)

Gospel & Thanksgiving

Scripture Reading: Genesis 17:19, 7; 21:1-3 (ESV)

"God said, “No, but Sarah your wife shall bear you a son, and you shall call his name Isaac. I will establish my covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his offspring after him.
And I will establish my covenant between me and you and your offspring after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to your offspring after you.
The Lord visited Sarah as he had said, and the Lord did to Sarah as he had promised. And Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age at the time of which God had spoken to him. Abraham called the name of his son who was born to him, whom Sarah bore him, Isaac."

Before the Throne of God Above (Bancroft and Cook)

Sermon Text: Zechariah 1:18-21 (ESV)

"And I lifted my eyes and saw,
and behold, four horns!
And I said to the angel who talked with me,
“What are these?”
And he said to me,
“These are the horns that have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.”
Then the Lord showed me four craftsmen.
And I said, “What are these coming to do?”
He said, “These are the horns that scattered Judah,
so that no one raised his head.
And these have come to terrify them,
to cast down the horns of the nations who lifted up their horns against the land of Judah to scatter it.”
