Come Praise and Glorify [Chester & Kauflin]

Adoration & Praise

Hosanna (Praise is Rising) [Baloche & Brown]

Call to Confession: Deuteronomy 9:7-8, Psalm 78:40-43, Jeremiah 3:19-21

Remember, do not forget how you provoked
The LORD your God to wrath in the wilderness,
From the day that you left the land of Egypt
Until you arrived at this place,
You have been rebellious against the LORD
How often they rebelled against him in the wilderness
And grieved him in the desert!
They tested God again and again
And provoked the Holy One of Israel.
They did not remember his power
Or the day when he redeemed them from the foe.
The Lord said, “How I would set you among my sons,
And give you a pleasant land, a heritage most beautiful of all nations.
And I thought you would call me, ‘My Father,’
And would not turn from following me.
Surely, as a treacherous wife leaves her husband,
So have you been treacherous to me,
O house of Israel, declares the Lord.”
A voice on the bare heights is heard,
The weeping and pleading of Israel's sons
Because they have perverted their way;
They have forgotten the Lord their God.

Though a Thousand May Fall (Dwell) [Cates & Keyes]

Gospel & Thanksgiving

Assurance of Pardon: Lamentations 3:21-26, 31-32

This I recall to my mind, therefore I have hope.
The LORD's loving-kindnesses indeed never cease,
     For His compassions never fail.
They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
"The LORD is my portion," says my soul,
"Therefore I have hope in Him."
The LORD is good to those who wait for him,
To the soul who seeks him.
It is good that one should wait quietly
For the salvation of the LORD.
For the Lord will not cast off forever,
But, though he cause grief, he will have compassion
According to the abundance of his steadfast love.
