Look and See [Bleecker & King]
Adoration & Praise
Holy, Holy, Holy [Heber]
Call to Confession: Psalm 32:3; 130:1-4
Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord!
O Lord, hear my voice!
Let your ears be attentive
to the voice of my pleas for mercy!
If you, O Lord, should mark iniquities,
O Lord, who could stand?
For when I kept silent,
my bones wasted away
through my groaning all day long.
But with you there is forgiveness,
that you may be feared.
Not in Me [Schumacher & Ward]
Gospel & Thanksgiving
Assurance of Pardon: Psalm 32:1-2, 5; Colossians 1:21-23
Blessed is the one
whose transgression is forgiven,
whose sin is covered.
Blessed is the man
against whom the Lord counts no iniquity,
and in whose spirit there is no deceit.
I acknowledged my sin to you,
and I did not cover my iniquity;
I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,”
and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah
And you, who once were alienated
and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds,
He has now reconciled
in his body of flesh by his death,
In order to present you holy and blameless
and above reproach before him,
If indeed you continue in the faith,
stable and steadfast,
Not shifting from the hope of the gospel that you heard,
which has been proclaimed in all creation under heaven.
